“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal” ―Declaration of Independence
A TV personality’s protective shell may seem as adamant as Mount Rushmore.
“Politics will eventually be replaced by imagery.
The politician will be only too happy to abdicate in favor of his image,
because the image will be much more powerful than he could ever be.”
But that which seems monumental may be as fragile as a cathode ray tube.
“Television was not intended to make human beings vacuous,
but it is an emanation of their vacuity.”
The shell may be a chip off the old bock. But when overblown, it reveals the fissures in the stone.
“A stone is ingrained with geological and historical memories.”
