“A beautiful thing is never perfect.” — Egyptian proverb*
by Cogito E Sum on June 9, 2024
This series stems from the portable document technology made of the stems of Egypt’s Nile grass: the papyrus sedge also called paper reed. Inked in the language of pictorial images and phonetic symbols, it was the new medium of an ancient message.
Keep away from trouble and sing to it. —Egyptian proverb*
*The Egyptian proverbs quoted throughout this post are from Hanna Fielding’s favourites.
What’s good for the goose is good for the gander. —Egyptian proverb
The monkey is as beautiful as a gazelle in his mother’s eyes.
He who has been scalded by soup, blows on yoghurt.
Not everything with a crooked neck is a camel.
If you search for the laws of harmony, you will find knowledge.
The best and shortest road towards knowledge of truth is nature.
Silence is the best answer to the stupid.
Seek peacefully, you will find.
Man, know yourself… and you shalt know the gods. —Egyptian proverb*

What’s good for the goose is good for a gander, too, but just a peek. Good job, Chaps.
Thanks for taking a peek at the gander, George.
