“Women hold up half the sky.” ― Mao Zedong

She’s tilted the panache of chivalry off its high horse.
She’s outstripped the wolf in emperor’s clothes.
She’s outfoxed la femme private eyes cherchez.
She’s accomplished more fabulous feats than the morals of fables.
Through the curtain of illusions and the looking glass of wonder, She’s literally led marching bands to victory, sinners to salvation, and sacrificed mortality to glow in the dark.
Inspired by the feminine principle in creation, this epic in progress is dedicated to She knows who She is so better than we do.
Alas, on this International Women’s Day, the larger part of humanity’s matriarchal opus yet unfolds under a patriarchal habit.
Be that as it may, by carrying a torch for liberty, dignity, and sorority in the human pageant, we deem it fair to say, She’s come a long way.
You say that you are my judge; I do not know if you are; but take good heed not to judge me ill, because you would put yourself in great peril.

I am determined to be cheerful and happy in whatever situation I may find myself. For I have learned that the greater part of our misery or unhappiness is determined not by our circumstance but by our disposition.
— Martha Washington

Women’s liberation is the liberation of the feminine in the man and the masculine in the woman.
— Corita Kent
Women want love to be a novel, men a short story.
— Daphne du Maurier
May I write words more naked than flesh, stronger than bone, more resilient than sinew, sensitive than nerve.

— Anais Nin
I am my own experiment. I am my own work of art.
—` Madonna Ciccone
Womanhood is internationally celebrated one day a year. Wow. Could there possibly be 364 more important celebrations? We don’t think so. And our picture-poetic homage to Yang’s better half, does not here. Goddess willing, more tomorrow.
Epic in progress;
Continuation immanent —
Goddess willing.
