“The height of cleverness is in one’s ability to be very clever without seeming clever at all.” ―Criss Jami
This post illuminates our dim wit in a dark age of cleverness, and begs the question: Do clever cracks reveal signs of light, or watt?
The pun exists in a social and political void, caring nothing for the issues of its day, content merely to display itself in its small cleverness. ―Arthur Smith

*applause!*

These are so entertaining. I can so relate to the Oscar Wilde quote! And in that light, I wonder, would a person with a split personality where one is clever and the other is dull, be a split spritz Zen and tonic?
Cheers LuAnne. My clever personality is trying not to be too clever by half while mixing a split spritz Z&T, invented by a sparkling spirit. The dull one is still trying to pronounce Shofferhofer. ;^)
